This is a key role for Survive, a post which plays a vital role in the provision of quality services to women and children who have experienced domestic violence and abuse and supporting staff to carry out their roles. The role of Finance Manager has become a larger and more complex role as the organisation has grown. You will report to the Chief Executive and join a management team of four. Alongside the Executive Assistant & Office Manager, you will allocate and oversee finance tasks carried out by the two Office Administrators in addition to the Bookkeeper.
Survive is keen to be forward looking and we continue to change and develop our services. We would welcome someone who brings ideas to the post, alongside a sound understanding of financial systems both internally to staff and the board, and externally to creditors and funders.
Over the next six months, you will assist with the implementation of auto-enrolment, upgrade the current finance system to QuickBooks online, review the payroll process with a view to possible outsourcing and look into recruiting additional finance support.
Hours: 15 per week (working days flexible but will need some overlap with the Bookkeeper)
Salary: £27,553 per annum pro rata
