Survive is a dynamic and innovative agency providing high quality services to women and children affected by domestic violence and abuse in South Gloucestershire and Bristol.

We are currently looking for an IDVA to join our team team of one full time and one part time IDVA (22hrs per week) based at our main office alongside, one part time outreach worker and an IDSVA team who are based in Southmead A&E department.  The IDVA and Outreach team provides high quality services to people experiencing domestic violence and abuse, reduces their immediate risk and signposts them to options which support their recovery. As an IDVA you will provide a high-quality frontline service to victims of domestic abuse, delivering a service to those at highest risk. You will work within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership responses to domestic abuse.

You will have at least 2 years experience of work in a relevant field, be a qualified IDVA holding a SafeLives qualification or equivalent Women’s Aid qualification.  You will have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle or be able to travel around South Gloucestershire and Bristol to appointments adequately.

Hours: 17 hours per week – maternity cover post until November 2016.

Salary:  £24,075 per annum (pro rata)
